The "In's & Out's" Of Your Warranty

Warranty Issue? Don’t sweat it, we want to help as soon as we can! At Hildy homes, we pride ourselves on the home we build and customer service. We want you to love every aspect of your home, even when the going gets tough. Here is what to do when a warranty related issue smacks you in the face!

 

  1. You have let us know what is going on, and that is step one to ensuring your issue, big or small, gets the attention it deserves! Please remember, all warranty issues are responded to during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but don’t worry, if it is a major emergency we will do our best to make sure the issue is tended to in a timely manner. We will be in touch soon!                                                                                                                                                                 

  2. Absolutely, positively do not call anyone who hasn’t already worked on your home. How would you know who has worked on your home you may ask, well that is simple! Please refer to the sub contractor list that was provided in your warranty packet included with your Hildy Homes closing gift. If you call a contractor that does not specifically work with Hildy Homes, and is not familiar with our products we cannot be responsible for charges, fee or service calls correlated to those individuals. Our guys are on top of it, and take the best care of our clients.                                                                                                

  3. Hildy Homes may provide a contractor name and contact to you directly. This is for one major reason, your convenience. We want to make sure every issue, big or small, not only is tended to as quickly as possible, but also during a time that fits your busy schedule. Sometimes that means cutting out the middle man (in case you forgot, that’s us). This streamlines getting the proper subcontractor into your home. P.S – Don’t take us the wrong way, we are not trying to “Pass The Buck”, be sure to keep us in the loop with a quick email. We want to make sure that your issue is 100% taken care of and you are back to enjoying everything your new home has to offer.                                                                                                  

  4. Don’t forget your warranty packet. While this page provides some good tid bits, please always refer back to your Hildy Homes Warranty program outline.
